Designed for firm-ground surfaces, the Nike Mercurial Vapor XVI Elite FG cleats deliver propulsive performance with each stride, featuring an Air Zoom unit calibrated to world-class benchmarks. A wave-like traction pattern with cascading studs engages more surface area of the Zoom unit while delivering controlled grip for rapid accelerations. The largest stud aligns with the height of the middle studs to sustain traction during dynamic moves. Advanced studs—evolved chevron and blade configurations—work with the pattern to support acceleration, deceleration, and swift cuts.

Nike Gripknit provides enhanced ball touch at high speeds, while micromolding texture forms to the foot for a secure, weather-agnostic grip. The snug, track-spike-inspired fit is reinforced by a full Flyknit upper, with Atomknit on the sides for additional support and reduced weight. Together, these materials create the thinnest Mercurial upper to date, helping players get closer to the ball and react faster on the field.
